Jetina’s Guaranteed PEN Accessory

You can obtain guaranteed PEN boss gear from Jetina <Old Moon Guild Manager>. She can be found in almost every major city throughout the world of Black Desert. There are two types of guarantee PEN systems:

• Guaranteed PEN Boss Accessory (Crescent Ring, Narc Ear Accessory, Tungrad Earring)
• Guaranteed PEN Boss Gear (Helmet, Armor, Gloves, Boots, Main Hand, Sub-weapon and Awakening Weapon)

Where to start?

To start the quest to obtain a PEN accessory, you need to be level 56+. You will need to speak with the Black Spirit to begin the questline.

Jetina’s Locations

Jetina can be found in most major cities. The cities that she can be found in are:

• Velia
• Heidel
• Altinova
• Valencia
• Grána
• Duvencrune

You can use the search function in-game to set an auto-path to Jetina’s location.

Upgrading Accessory

Jetina has three accessories to choose from that you can upgrade to PEN. The recommended accessory to upgrade is the Ring of Crescent Guardian.

You can only select ONE accessory to upgrade, so choose wisely.

The three accessories are:

• Ring of Crescent Guardian
• Narc Ear Accessory
• Tungrad Earring

The upgrade material used are Burning Moonlight Black Stones. To make the Burning Moonlight Black Stones, you will need certain ingredients which are:

• Burning Moonlight Blackstone Powder
• Yona’s Fragment
• Magical Shard
• Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst
• Black Stone (Armor/Weapon)

You will upgrade the accessory from base to TET with Burning Moonlight Black Stones and once completed, you will need a TRI version of the same accessory plus 110 Burning Moonlight Black Stones to exchange for a Dancing Moonlight Black Stone from Jetina. After receiving the Dancing Moonlight Black Stone, you will be able to use it to upgrade your TET accessory to PEN.

The Burning Moonlight Black Stone is needed to enhance the accessory from base to TET. A lot of the ingredients to make the Burning Moonlight Black Stone can be purchased, rewarded or acquired from loot drops. To make the Burning Moonlight Stone, follow the chart:

Burning Moonlight Black Stone Powder

One of the main ingredients to make the Burning Moonlight Black Stone is the Burning Moonlight Black Stone Powder. You can obtain the powder via quests from Jetina. There are two types of quests that you can complete, Life Skill quests and Elimination quests.
*You can only complete one of these quests once a day per Family, and you will no longer be able to complete a Life Skill quest if you complete a Monster Hunting quest. These quests reset daily at midnight (00:00 UTC).

Yona’s Fragments are rare loot drops in the Valencia Territory. You can also melt down most yellow grade accessories to obtain Yona’s Fragment. There are a few quests that will reward Yona’s Fragment upon completion. These quests are located in various areas of the Valencia Territory.

Magical Shards can be obtained from event rewards, attendance rewards, quests, Imperial Alchemy, melting down Black Magic Crystals (yellow-grade) and melting down Sealed Black Magic Crystals. You can acquire Black Magic Crystals from loot drops through the world of Black Desert.

Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst

The Old Moon Manager sells the Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst, one of the ingredients to make the Burning Moonlight Black Stone. The cost of the Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst is 3.5 million silver each.

Jetina’s Final Quest—PEN Accessory

Jetina has three quests for the final stage of the accessory and depending on what accessory you have, it will determine the quest Jetina will have that is available. The reward for the quest is a Dancing Moonlight Black Stone. You need to turn in 110 Burning Moonlight Black Stones and a TRI (III) accessory of the same type that you are upgrading. You can purchase a TRI (III) accessory from the Central Market.

Jetina offers a quest to exchange your TET or PEN accessory. You can only do an exchange two times. The accessory must not be equipped and if a reform stone was used, it will need to be extracted.
