Isaac “Pee Wee'” Powers, Jr., age 56, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of Johnson County, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.Pee Wee was born June 24, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Charlee Blevins (Johnny) Ratliff of Staffordsville, Kentucky and the late Isaac Power, Sr.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend, Shirley May; one brother, Daniel Powers; one sister, Tasina Meek; one half-brother, Brandon Powers; two half-sisters, Rebecca Zdanowski and Melissa Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Johnny Ratliff officiating. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Eva Jane Joseph, age 73 of Hueysville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1950 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Johnny & Maudie Whitaker Hoover. She was the wife of the late Harold Jr. Joseph. She is survived by her Son: Tivis Jason Neeley of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; Daughters: Deborah Ann Hicks (Rodney Prater) of Hueysville, Kentucky, Teressa Lynn Lewis (Curtis Scott) of Hueysville, Kentucky, Penny Kay Pennington of Prestonsburg, Kentucky & Polly Sue (Michael) Watkins of Wayland, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Whitney Lewis, Jordan Lewis, Derek Prater, Rayanna Prater, Michael Watkins, Britney Pennington, Brooke Pennington & BJ Pennington; Great Grandchildren: Sophia Lewis, Laiken Lewis, Leah Hylton, Tyler Hylton & Miah Thompson;Brothers: Ben (Mila) Hoover of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Melvin (Deborah) Hoover of Hueysville, Kentucky & John F. Hattie June Barker, age 86 of Harold, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born March 7, 1938 in Seth, West Virginia to the late Theodore & Myrtle Holstein Runion. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Barker Sr. She is survived by her Son: Johnny (Tammy Jo) Barker of Harold, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Jonathan Barker, Candice Barker, Bardie Cremeans & Johnny Barker Jr.;Brothers & Sister: Roy Runion of St. Augustine, Florida, Theodore Runion Jr. of Orgas, West Virgina & Mary Smith of Woodruff, South Carolina. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son: Lawrence Leon Barker Jr.; Grandson: Lawrence Barker III; A Host Brothers & Sisters. Jimmy Pratt, age 75 of Garrett, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1948 in Garrett, Kentucky to the late Elbert & Mary Hicks Pratt. He was the husband of Brenda Bentley Pratt. He was a member of Garrett First Baptist Church. Along with his wife he is survived by his Son: Jimmy Darrell (Tonya) Pratt of Garrett, Kentucky; Grandchildren: LaMikka Pratt (Logan) Crowder & Jordan (Tyra) Pratt; Great Grandchildren: Easton, Bailey, Taylee & Tessa; Brother & Sisters: Elbert Darrell (Sally) Pratt of Garrett, Kentucky, Ellazene Pratt Ritchie of Perry County, Kentucky, Shielda Pratt Lawson of Westland, Michigan & Julia Fern Pratt Jones of Martin, Kentucky; Very Special Niece: Zeda Pratt Martin. William “Goose” Martin, age 77 of David, KY, husband of Mary Lou Martin, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 in the Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY. He was born March 30, 1947, in Eastern, KY a son of the late Miles and Evelyn Gibson Martin. He was a Navy veteran, a member of the VFW, an active member of the of the David Volunteer Fire Dept. where he served for thirty-six (36) years as well as serving as captain for several years. “Goose” was also active in many community services including security detail for the Mountain Arts Center. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son: William Martin Jr. (Misty) David, KY; one daughter: Teresa Gayle Martin, David, KY; one brother: Kirk Douglas Martin, Jackson, OH; one sister: Regina Carol DeRossett, Science Hill, KY; six grandchildren: Madison, Audra and Jacee Martin, Kaitlyn Craft, Nicholas Combs and Alexis Benton; five great grandchildren: Bentley and Rowan Craft, Lexi, Sam and Jaxon Combs. “Goose” was preceded in death by one daughter: Roberta Martin; four brothers: Neb, Ralph, Garnis and Eugene Martin; four sisters: Emma Lou Pigman, Mary Lou Slone, Geraldine Howard and Marlene Wagner. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Malcolm Slone officiating. Burial will follow in the Pitts Family Cemetery, David, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home.

James Albert Williamson of Inez, KY, 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on February 7, 1946, in Breeden, West Virginia. He was a son of the late Garland and Lona Marcum Williamson. James is preceded in death by his siblings, Garland Jr., Glen Ray Williamson, Roy Williamson, and Juanita Lee Evans. He was a retired truck driver where he spent 40 years driving freight state to state. He served in the army where he was part of the intelligence division, being put behind enemy lines to gather intel used in winning the Vietnam War. James enjoyed riding his boat on the lake, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He loved traveling and was always up for a trip. James loved spending time with family and friends and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. James is survived by his son, James Allen (Denise) Williamson of Kermit, WV, grandchildren; Zachary Tyler (Lakyn) Williamson of Stone Coal, WV, Tyra Paige (Garrett) Brown of South Williamson, KY as well as great grandchildren, Edda Grace Williamson, Dax Tyler Williamson, Billie Kate Williamson and Josie Faye Brown. James is also survived by brother, Billy Williamson of Florida and sister, Helen Perry of Jennies Creek, WV as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be after 5pm Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the House of Prayer Church of Dingess, WV, with funeral services being conducted Monday, June 17, 2024, at 12:00pm with Matt Williamson officiating. A burial will follow in the Williamson Cemetery on Kelly Hill Road, Wilsondale, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of James A. Wiliamson.
